Pommel for pistol grip

The pistol grip construction demands the placement of a holding nut into the body of the grip to avoid unnecessary protrusions. Pistol grips are twice shorter than French grips and anatomical in their shape. As a result, the nuts for such grips must be compact and durable to firmly attach the grip to the blade, given their small size. This small nut secures the handle to the blade and fits all pistol grips. It is applied with a hex key. ELSIOR nuts are smooth on the outer surface, with a deep split for a hex key, which provides secure connection between the key and the nut. If the shank threading is of excessive length, split washers are used for the blade to compensate the difference between the shank and nut length. The split washers are put on the shank before applying the nut.
